Postnatal Pilates is a six week follow-on course, designed to be followed after the Introduction to Postnatal Pilates Course.
It’s a full Pilates session where we continue to work on healing the postnatal body and regaining strength, focussing on the abdominals, pelvic floor and posture. Again, we are practising on exercises that strengthen the muscles that we are using most as a mum so that everyday tasks are easier and we have less back pain.
During the classes we continue to gradually increase the intensity of the exercises, building up to mainstream matwork Pilates classes. All of the exercises have modifications so that mums can choose their own level.
You don’t have to be a new mum to come along to the Postnatal Pilates Course. Even if your child is a few years old but you feel like your body needs some TLC, you are welcome to join.
Babies are very welcome to come along and join us for the classes.
